Each Saturday at the vibrant Hermanus Country Market, Daan’s Bakery serves up a slice of home-baked heaven — from golden-crusted breads to sweet Dutch delights.

At the heart of the stall are Daan’s artisan sourdough loaves, flaky pastries, and traditional breads, all lovingly crafted using time-honoured techniques and the finest ingredients. But what keeps regulars coming back are the krentebollen(lightly sweet Dutch raisin buns, soft and spiced just right) and the irresistible stroopwafels — thin caramel-filled waffle cookies that are a hug in edible form.
